Let me tell you, it has been so hot and humid this summer you feel you need to be in a bathing suit all the time.  I don’t mind the hot that much since I was raised on an island, but I have been spoiled by AC systems here in the US.  Even though heat is alms 100 degree, it does not stop me from dressing up and feel pretty.  I am not a jean person kinda girl, I love dresses and jeans are so uncomfortable to me.  That is probably because I have never tried the perfect kind of jeans for me.  I was looking for a jean that was good quality, most of my jeans have ripped or there are holes on them because of the wearing.  The searching have stopped, I am in LOVE with Madewell jeans.  They are so comfortable and soft and they are my most precious item! Everyone should try them out.  Anyway, you might have noticed I am a sucker for collars.  I love this crop lavender top from Forever 21 and I just added my most beloved cream collar top underneath to create a style that is more me.  I’m not me if I don’t wear a hat, of course!

I will be heading to Asheville, NC this weekend of 4th of July! Pretty excited, traveling is one of my most favorite things in the world.  Hope you enjoy your holiday weekend as well!

Love,

Natalia

What’s to come

Our lease is almost up, and we were not sure of whether to stay in our apartment or find a bigger place.  Having pets can be a challenge when you are renting, not many people trust pets.  Me and Justin are not willing or remotely thinking on giving up on our pets, they are our kids and we love them.  We have decided to stay in our place for one more year, which is perfect.  We will be graduating in exactly one year and going off to our Europe trip around this time next year.  The next place will be moving in will be our own, our house, our home for many years.  I’m excited for all that’s coming, just have to be patient for one more year of school and hard work.  I know it will be worth it at the end.

Also,  it is rare, I mean really really rare for me to put a picture of my husband on my blog.  You see, he doesn’t like pictures or being in front of the camera.  But he is so handsome I had to snap pictures of him to put on my blog, he is pretty stylish himself 😉

Have a great week!

Love,

Natalia

City Limit

The weather here in Jacksonville has been quite crazy, or as I like to call it, bipolar. One day it’s mid 80s, the next bone chilling cold.  Every time I get ready to go out, I have to look at the weather to see the temperature, so I can decide on what to wear. Back in Puerto Rico it was practically summer all year long. Living here with this type of weather is a bit more complicated. I have found a bundled up style that I love since moving here.  I have been wanting knee high socks for so long, but I was scared that I couldn’t pull them off.  I am so glad that I took the risk.  The ones I chose from Urban Outfitter are so comfortable, and will keep me warm for sure! I matched it with my favorite coat from H&M and a cute lace dress from Forever 21. Blush pink is becoming one of my favorite colors.

This weekend, Justin and I will be going on a small get away to Charleston, South Carolina for the weekend. Be on the look out next week of little adventure. If you know of great places in Charleston, let us know!

Have a great weekend!

Love,

Natalia
