I know it has been a couple of weeks since the #Spring10x10 challenge ended, but I wanted to share with you my ten items, experience and tips for future 10×10 challenges. Lee of Style Bee hosts the 10×10 Challenge and she hosted this round with Caroline of Un-Fancy and designer guest-host Liz of Elizabeth Suzann.
I’ve done the #10x10challenge once before and I was not successful and didn’t finish the whole 10 days. This time around I was more positive and determined to finish strong. I planned my pieces over a week before the challenge started, trying to determine if the pieces where versatile enough to wear more than 3 or 4 ways. I try different outfit ideas to make sure what was on my head, actually did work.
During this challenge I had challenges of course. I am a mom, so that can be a challenge just by itself. My son got very sick and had to be rushed to the hospital, so that was a major challenge and of course his health is 100% more important than anything else. Still, during the days he was sick and we were at home I wanted to keep creating outfits for those days. I didn’t want to pause and resume later because that just would kill my vibe and motivation.
I loved the challenge this time around even of the hard obstacles that came up in the middle. I loved all the outfits I put together and each item I chose for this challenge. I am definitely excited to be part of the next challenge for #Summer10x10 !

My Ten Outfits
Here are my individual outfits I put together for each day for the challenge. You can see all 10 looks along with all the details and styling in my Instagram Story Highlights labeled spring10x10.
1| What were your #Spring10x10 Challenge goals?
Test out creativity with a smaller closet was probably my biggest goal. For the past year I’ve been conscious about the things I add to my closet and have rid of most items that were in my closet. I want to add items that are of better quality, conscious and ethically made, and buy less to create sort of capsule wardrobe. Basic colors and styles to maximize the wear and creativity of outfits that come out of my closet.
2| What did you learn about your personal style?
I learned that I like comfort, but still something that looks sharp and well put together. If it does not feel comfortable against my skin or looks wrong on me in a way that makes me feel self-conscious about it, like a low-cut V that can show my bra and best. I learned that an outfits need to be styled to look the next level and not stay too basic. Adding a bandana, a hat or one piece to have more character.
3| What was your 10×10 star piece?
I would say the Everlane Wide Leg Crop Pan in Bone was the star this challenge! I paired it with most of my tops and it just made the outfit stand out way more and still look basic and feel comfortable while wearing it!
4| Were there any pieces you would consider a mistake?
I think all my pieces were great for this challenge. If I have to pick one I would say the Black boots since I live in Florida and weather here is bipolar. Also, I am always on the go with a toddler and the mules were ideal to slip and go.
5|Were your items weather appropriate?
Yes. I decided for this challenge to not add any cardigans or jackets for my ten items because of how Florida weather is. I would put a cardigan on if it was too cold in the morning, but that rarely happened. I was comfortable outside with the outfits I created.
6| Which outfit was your favorite?
I would say Day 3 was my favorite! What is sad, I kind of forgot to pair this top again the rest of the challenge. But thast for the next question. I LOVED this outfit, I felt beautiful in this outfit, I felt comfortable in this outfit and it looks the best well put together and polished outfit. I also loved outfits with my mock-neck stripe tank top with boyfriend jeans and wide leg pants.
7| What items didn’t get paired?
As I said in the previous question, the rust V-neck just got paired once and it was in my favorite outfit. I forgot to add this top to another outfit the rest of the challenge. I really wish I had used it again!
8| What was the hardest part about this 10×10?
The hardest part of the challenges is being a stay-at-home mom and the challenge of a very sick baby boy. This makes the challenge hard because staying inside the house with no intention of going anywhere can make it difficult for me to get out of my pajamas.
9| What was your favorite part of the challenge?
My favorite part, other than using my creativity and getting to actually be intentional about getting dressed every day, was getting to meet so many beautiful ladies through this challenge! Seeing everyone’s outfits and creativity made this challenge so much fun and creating new friendships was just lovely.
Have a lovely week!
