The Treaty Oak Tree holds memories within its limbs that are close to me. A couple of years ago my family came to visit me here in Jacksonville. My brother, Joey researches places before he ever goes to visit them. He’s the one who told me about the tree, I had no idea and I’m the one who lives here! We were talking about this giant tree so, one night we just got in the car. We got in the car and just went to find this tree we couldn’t stop talking about. It was really dark and we were kind of scared. Now every time I pass by the Treaty Oak Tree it reminds me of that dark night and more importantly it reminds me of my brother, Joey.
So you can see why I’d want to do a styled shoot in front of this tree. This vintage blouse I found is one of my favorites! I love the button and the details on the collar. If you haven’t noticed, I love collars. These shorts I scored at Forever 21 a couple of weeks ago, I was looking for something just like it! I love floral tapestry fabric. While on our honeymoon in New York City we found these shoes in Top Shop. They’re so cute I just couldn’t pass them up. The shoes literally go with so many things! To finish my look, my all time favorite hat.
Have a lovely week!
